We went on a little road trip to Montpelier to a sugarhouse over the weekend. Though there was a steal of a deal for $5.95 you could get sugar-on-snow, a pickle, a donut, and a pop...we opted for maple creemees. There was alot of mud (I guess that's why it's called mud season), and there was this funny little replica of the statehouse. They had a bunch of sweet woodcarvings, like the little man welcoming us with a stack of pancakes.
P.S. I've always been perplexed by the "welcome to montpelier" sign on the intertate. For a ransom stretch the signs are bilingual and measures are in km, not miles and km, just km. so weird.
