Day Trip to Middlebury & Brandon, VT

So this weekend I realized I didn't really have anything going on. We sort of played that game of "grab a VT map, point to a town and go there". One thing led to another, and we decided on Middlebury & Brandon. This weekend was also "maple open house". Syrup makers across the state open their "sugar shacks" to the public for tours, tastings, and maple treats. We bummed around shops, went to a winery, had lunch at a place called Cafe Provence, and stopped by a a sugar shack. The waterfall pics are from Brandon.










Yes, they might be growing right in the middle of our yard,but spring is coming!
