savouring sweet memories

I have a "1000 places to see before you die" page-a-day calendar at my desk (it's very unhealthy for my wanderlust). Today is the Indiana Dunes, with this quote:

“The dunes are to the Midwest that the Grand Canyon is to Arizona.
They constitute a signature of time & eternity”

I don’t know if I’d go that far….but it reminded me of this fun time!
