for several reasons:
-it's so not stressful
-the same guy that checks your bag also checks you into your flight
-above guy exhibits kindness after you lower your baggage weight from 62.8 lbs to 52, and lets you on with no additional charges, thank you!
-as soon as you take off, it's so fun to look at the ground below, and in an instant you know exactly what you are above
