The following transpired while we were Pewabic (see a few posts below):
My dad's car had trouble starting earlier that morning, when we got to Pewabic, he shut it off, then immediately tried to turn it on to no avail. He asked the Pewabic Bouncer (remember how we're in the heart of Detroit?) if there was an AutoZone or the like nearby. There was, and it was just down the street. Britton's car was there, so he gave my Dad's a jump. While we shopped, Dad took care of the car. Thanks Dad! :)
He found the Auto place, left the car running, with the keys in it. He goes into the shop, explains to the guy what's going on, to which the guy says: "so your car is out there, in the parking lot, running, with the keys in it??"
Dad: yes...
Auto Guy: "damn, sir this is the 'hood!"
(oh and for any wondering, Dad got a new battery and we made it back home safely!)

I think that is hilarious.
That last statement was especially classy -- explicative and "sir" and "hood" all in the same sentence.
